About this role
Working as a full-stack engineer at Sobiapi, taking client products from raw idea to production. No external technical lead, no hand-holding. Specification, architecture, development, and deployment: all on me.
The flagship project: building the way L'Industreet (Total Energies Foundation) runs examinations. I delivered a complete exam platform in 3 months as tech lead of 3 engineers, supporting 1,000+ concurrent users. I designed Node.js and Laravel microservices for real-time examinations with webhook ingestion, deployed in a VPC via Docker Compose. A k-means classification algorithm I built cut exam configuration from hours of manual setup to one click.
I also delivered a waste management platform for Sage Engineering, integrating French government APIs to automate compliance and reporting workflows.
The quality of delivery on both projects directly secured a 100K+ EUR follow-on contract. The client consolidated all platform development with our team, and I transitioned into a technical advisor role overseeing the new engineering team.
